Coursegoule is a small mountain village in the hinterland of the Côte d'Azur, which is certainly crowded in the high season, but exudes a pleasantly calm atmosphere in the low season / hiking season. There is a small one in the main and narrow side streets of the village Supermarket, a Crêperie, several restaurants and a small one Wood stove bakery.
A French couple has the wonderful thing there as a joint retirement project Bed & Breakfast Coté Chapell and opened a small tea room. We were warmly welcomed there and very competently advised on the detailed planning of our hiking tour. Since we stayed on a weekday that none of the restaurants in the village was open, we were even cooked in the evening!
Another highlight in Bed & Breakfast Coté Chapell: We could book a massage in addition to the overnight stay and dinner!
For further overnight alternatives, the best thing to do is to consult the booking platform Airbnb, on the under https://www.airbnb.de/s/Coursegoules/homes many more accommodations are offered.
