Since I almost always prefer well-rated guesthouses to normal hotels, my first choice in Moneglia would have been the B&B Fronte Mare (Link: B&B Fronte Mare):
However, since this was fully booked, the Hotel Mondial Moneglia had to serve as a replacement - also a very good choice! The hotel has made the best of its not so easy location on the side of a hilltop facing away from the sea: The two parts of the building are arranged and connected with terraces so that the upper hotel garden can even score with a sea view. The bathrooms and rooms (parquet floor!) Are well maintained and the small old town of Moneglia can be reached in 5 minutes on foot (Link: Hotel Mondial Moneglia).
