Accommodation in Porto Venere

Ligurian coast Cinque Terre long-distance hike, stage 6 21

Pension in Portovenere

Porto Venere is at the tip of the headland that borders the Gulf of La Spezia. The unmistakable landmark of Porto Venere is the Church of San Pietro, which with its cross-striped stone facade is very picturesquely placed on a rocky promontory.

After 6 exhausting days of hiking, relaxation and enjoyment are the order of the day! Porto Venere is particularly attractive in the late afternoon sun and the beginning of dusk - so it is worth staying here for the night. In my opinion, the "La Calata" guesthouse is particularly recommendable: There two high-quality, tastefully designed rooms are rented, both with a view of the marina (one even with a terrace). Access is via the narrow main street of Porto Venere (Link: La Calata).

Excellent location right on the harbor - one of the rooms in "La Calata" even has a terrace
