Stage 2: Planning overnight accommodations for Stage 2 was a bit more challenging for us, as there were very few accommodations available along this stretch. Stage 6: We recommend taking the bus early in the morning at the start of Stage 6 to avoid the somewhat tedious climb along the main access road. Paleokastritsa is a larger town with several bays and its own harbor. There's a wide selection of privately run accommodations and a few hotels here. The 4-star Akrotiri Beach Hotel boasts a spectacular location on a headland at the entrance to the town.
