The third stage leads from Mongelia via Devia Marina and Framura to Bonassola and, together with stage 1, is the most strenuous stage of the long-distance hike with an ascent and descent of around 1.000 meters in altitude. In an emergency, there are two different shortcuts to Bonassola from Framura: Trains run from the train station opposite the small harbor basin, and a pedestrian tunnel leads to Bonassola at ground level (approx. 2,5 km in length). However, it is worthwhile to hike the entire stage as suggested here, as the last third is the most beautiful section of this hiking day. The lookout point "Salto della Lepre" just before Bonassola (waypoint 10) is particularly worthwhile.

There are refreshment stops along the way in the village center of Framura after approx. 11 km (see waypoint 4). I have listed other important waypoints below.

• Waypoint 1: The ascent begins: stairway parallel to the train tracks
• Waypoint 2: The turnoff to the hiking trail - is difficult to see and is often parked by cars

• Waypoint 5: We switch to the streets for a short time
• Waypoint 6: In the bend we take the narrow street straight ahead
• Waypoint 7: Framura train station (shortcut option 1)
• Waypoint 8: Pedestrian and cyclist tunnel to Bonassola (shortcut option 2)
• Waypoint 9: Instead of hiking on the direct route to Bonassola, turn right: the short detour is worth it!
• Waypoint 10: "Salto della Lepre" viewpoint
• Waypoint 11: The ProLoco tourist information office rents out bicycles.
